Caitlyn Jenner Effect: Transgender Model Amiyah Scott To Replace NeNe Lekes For RHOA Season 8
Real Housewives of Atlanta has recruited a transgender model to replace NeNe Lekes.
According to TMZ, Amiyah Scott will appear in the next season of the show with Kim Fields. Born Arthur, Scott began her transition when she was 17.
The Guardian called Scott's addition the Caitlyn Jenner effect. Scott reportedly has a huge following on Twitter and Instagram.
"When I stand before God, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say: "I used everything you gave me," Scott says on her modeling profile website, according to Daily Mail.
She also claims to be an internationally known personality in the underground ballroom scene and an ultimate southern Belle with an 'Up North' twist, Daily Mail reports.
NeNe Lekes revealed in June that she won't be joining the show for season eight.
"Thank you so much to everyone that has watched and supported me over the years on this amazing platform! With lots of thoughts and prayer I've decided to step out on faith and not fear," Lekes had said when she revealed she was leaving the show.
