Sam and Nia announced their pregnancy on the social media, and it went viral. But just the following day, they put up another viral video, announcing that they had just suffered a miscarriage.

The first video showed Sam taking his wife's urine sample from the toilet so that he could test and then surprise her with the news that she was pregnant. She did not even know about it herself.

That video got 10.6 million viewers.

However, now that they have suffered miscarriage, they are sharing it, hoping that they can share the experience of grief in order to help others.

Nia is sobbing as she sits beside a "visibly distraught Sam", according to ktla.

"Those of you who have experienced miscarriage before, I can relate now. The "hardest part is just knowing that it's really gone," she adds. "There's no question."

"It just, bam, it just hit us like a bomb," Nia said in the video. "And those of you who have experienced miscarriage before, I can relate now. I have felt my womb empty out. I never ever ever known that women felt that way. I just want to say, too, that maybe there's someone out there that's going through this with us. The Bible says to weep with those who weep and mourn with those who mourn, and I am mourning with those of you who are feeling this."

In a quiet moment, Sam put in a word. He said he felt that this tragic experience has brought their entire family closer. "We're so hurt," Sam says, "but we're so grateful that God used us like this."
