Bobbi Kristina Brown Latest Update: Lawsuit Alleges Nick Gordon gave Bobbi Kristina a ‘Toxic Cocktail’
Bobbi Kristina Brown's family strongly believes that her boyfriend, Nick Gordon is responsible for her death.
Brown's conservator, Bedelia Gargrove, has amended the lawsuit against 25-year-old Gordon. The lawsuit is now alleging that Gordon had given Bobbi Kristina, 22, a "toxic cocktail" that knocked her out before placing her body facedown in a bathtub filled with cold water.
The lawsuit now claims that at around 6 a.m. on Jan. 31, the day that Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive, Gordon had come home after "being out all-night on a cocaine and drinking binge." The couple allegedly argued for about 30 minutes because Gordon believed that Brown had been cheating on him. After the argument, Gordon allegedly gave Bobbi Kristina the cocktail.
The suit continued that Bobbi Kristina was then found in the bathtub. She had a swollen mouth and a very loose tooth. At this point, the suit alleged that Gordon tried to resuscitate Brown.
Gordon has not been charged with any crime.
The original lawsuit, which was filed back on June 24, accused Gordon of "assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and transferring money from her account into his own without authorization" (USA TODAY). The lawsuit is asking damages of at least $10 million for each count.
Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of entertainer Bobby Brown and the late music legend, Whitney Houston, died on July 26 in hospice care.
