Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick Update: Father of 3 Breaks Silence, Says he is Trying to be Positive

Scott Disick has finally broken his silence after weeks of rumors circulating that he was spiraling out of control due to his breakup with Kourtney Kardashian.

Disick, 32, was hosting a party at Las Vegas' 1OAK nightclub on Friday, July 24 when he addressed his situation to reporters.

"[I'm] just taking it one day at a time," he said. "With everything going on right now, I need to be positive for myself."

Disick, who wore a grey suit with a white shirt, stuck to water throughout the night, an onlooker told US Weekly. He also stayed away from female fans and was on his phone a lot.

"Scott was rather disconnected once he got into the club," the witness told the website. "Typically a very verbal and outrageous host, [he] was rather restrained."

Disick hosted the bash with Love and Hip Hop Hollywood's Mally Mall and Alec Monopoly.

Disick and his girlfriend of nine years, Kardashian, 36, split up over the July 4 weekend. Kardashian reportedly dumped him after he was seen with a former flame while partying. Some sources claim that even though Kardashian is serious about the breakup, her decision is not final.

"Scott is not totally out of the picture," a source close to Kardashian told PEOPLE. "She hasn't made a final decision. Right now, she's just living day to day. She's not begging him to see the kids, but she also hasn't definitively said 'I'm never letting him back again.'"

Kardashian has reportedly removed his stuff from their Calabasas home and has filed for sole custody of their three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign. According to the rumors, Disick, who was seen spending time with his eldest son at a Barnes & Noble, will not fight her.
