Tom Cruise Dating News: Actor Ready to Tie the Knot with 22-year-old Assistant?

Tom Cruise is reportedly very smitten with his 22-year-old British assistant, Emily Thomas, several websites reported.

"Tom has fallen head over heels for Emily, and she feels the same way. There's even buzz in his inner circle that he might propose!" a source told Star magazine. "Tom was so impressed with her, he made it clear he wanted her to work with him on all his upcoming projects."

Daily Mail UK is claiming that the 53-year-old actor had hand selected Thomas, who is described as "popular," "outgoing" and "fun-loving," to be his assistant on the set of "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation," the fifth installment in the franchise.

After working with her for around a year, rumors are claiming that Cruise sees her as wife material. They allegedly started dating late last year. When rumors first surfaced about the two, many were quick to compare Thomas' looks to Katie Holmes, Cruise's ex-wife.

A source close to Thomas said, however, that she is too career-oriented to think about marriage at such a young age.

"She is a lovely girl who is working hard to get on in the movie business. She is very conscientious and has done well to get as far as she has in such a short period of time," the source said to The Daily Express.

Cruise and Thomas are also working together for "Mena," a film about a drug runner who is an informant for the CIA. The rumored couple has not shown any public signs of affection for one another. However, other sources claim that he confides in her and asks for her opinions.
