Instagram gets Web Search Update

The most used photo app has now added a new feature of Web Search.

The Web Search allows user to access the photos via desktop, and by just accessing the web search option. Previously, users had to use third party platforms such as Websta, OnInstagram, Gramfeed, IconoSquare, or Findgram, to access photos on the desktop.

Instagram had rolled out the Web Profiles in 2012. However, users could only see their own feed. Now, the Web Search on the desktop allows users to access all photos on Instagram.

The Web Expansion comes about a month after the social network upgraded its iOS and Android apps with a redesigned Explore tab, which now shows a list of trending places and tags, as well as thumbnail photos from around the globe.

Instagram has been bringing a lot of updates including new Vine like video looping, colour tools, and clickable emoji hash tags. The company also introduced interactive ads and later expanded its offerings to include "action- oriented" and targeted advertising.
