Brandon Marshall stated that the New York Jets will be the last team that he plays for in the NFL.

The 31-year-old wide receiver, who has played for the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins and most recently, Chicago Bears, wrote: "If I'm cut tomorrow. I'll retire. This will be my last team. After Jets I'm done.

The tweet was in response to one of his fans, who asked him how much longer he planned on playing in the league. The receiver hosted a Q and A session on his twitter.

When asked who was the best quarterback that he has played with, Marshall answered, Kyle Orton. In 2009, with Orton as the starter for the Broncos, Marshall caught 101 passes for 1,120 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Marshall is currently signed through to the 2017 season. He did not state that he would retire after his contract expires so if the Jets resign him, Marshall could be in the league for a bit longer.

During last season, Marshall's played in 13 games and made 61 receptions for 721 yards. From 2007 through to 2013, Marshall recorded more than 1,000 yards in each season. He holds the NFL record for the most single-game receptions with 21.

Marshall will be making $26 million in each of the next three seasons. For this upcoming season, he is guaranteed $9 million.

In New York, Marshall and a healthy Eric Decker will be the main offensive weapons for quarterback Geno Smith.
