GTA fans are baying for more and reports suggest Rockstar is working on the next version of its immensely popular multi-platform game.

Citing other reports, Latinos Health claims GTA 6 could release in 2018. One of most talked features of a new GTA game is a female lead. Ardent fans and gamers have reportedly asked the game-maker when they would get to play a female lead but Rockstar has remained mum about such ideas.

Reports of Eva Mendes pairing up with Ryan Gosling to participate in GTA 6, has also led fans to speculate that Rockstar could let them play with a female character.

However, given that GTA has drawn flak over the years for the way women are portrayed, Rockstar may have to make major revamps in the next installation if it wishes to use a female lead.

The game-maker recently released Ill Gotten Gains Part 2 DLC for GTA Online. The DLC has given gamers new vehicles, clothes, a new radio station.

Unfazed by all the GTA 6 rumors, Rockstar is keen on ensuring gamers are hooked to GTA Online. It announced that players will earn double the incentive for the Prison Break heist between July 16 and 19.

"Starting tomorrow and continuing through Sunday, July 19th, The Prison Break Heist (which occurs following the completion of the 2-player Fleeca Bank set-up Heist) will award 2X RP & GTA$ payouts in GTA Online,"  Rockstar said on its website
