NBA Trade Rumors: Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics Talk Danilo Gallinari Trade
The Denver Nuggets have talked to the Boston Celtics about potentially trading Danilo Gallinari, several sources claimed.
According to the latest rumors, the Nuggets reportedly want to trade the 26-year-old forward from Italy and have already discussed a deal with the Celtics. However, Steve Bulpett with the Boston Herald reported that no deal has been confirmed. Bulpett added that he has heard conflicting stories coming from multiple sources.
Celts/Denver discussed Gallinari deal, but nothing doing as of now. Some conflicting talk from sources, but may want to keep an eye on this.

Hearing varying reports about Gallinari's availability. Some connected say DEN not looking to move him; others say it's open to discussion. — Steve Bulpett (@SteveBHoop) July 13, 2015
Gallinari heading into last year of contract at $11.5m. Risk/reward would be good for a lot of clubs. — Steve Bulpett (@SteveBHoop) July 13, 2015
Moving Gallinari might not make sense for the Nuggets, who recently drafted Emmanuel Mudiay. Mudiay and Gallinari have the potential to become an interesting duo in Denver. However, the Celtics have a lot of future draft picks that could entice the Nuggets.
Matt Moore with CBSSports.com wrote:
"Boston has a mixture of what Denver would be looking for in a deal, but the question is whether Denver is legitimately looking to make that kind of drastic change. If anything, the extension of [Wilson] Chandler further confuses the issue. It insures a versatile veteran wing who can play stretch four will be in Denver, but he's also close with and supportive of Gallo. So yeah, lot of different signals out there."
If Gallinari heads to Boston, he would fit right in with the up-and-coming team. He would also be facing the team who drafted him, the New York Knicks.
Gallinari averaged 12.4 points and 3.7 rebounds this season.
