Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden Relationship Update: Actress taking a break to get Pregnant

Cameron Diaz is ready to start a family.

Rumors are circulating that the 42-year-old actress is taking a break from acting even though she is still in high demand. During her time off, Diaz will reportedly try and get pregnant. Diaz tied the knot with Good Charlotte band member, Benji Madden, 36, around five months ago.

"All she wants is to stay home and enjoy this special time in her life," a source said to US Weekly. "She has told her team she won't answer the phone for any amount of money - even though she has received offers for various things. She is adamant that she is not available for anything."

Diaz recently made $18 million in 2014 from "Sex Tape," "The Other Woman" and "Annie" and is now more focused on settling into her new life as a wife and potentially a mother as opposed to making more money.

The source added, "She loves watching TV and movies at home with Benji, and she's working on new recipes for a follow-up to The Body Book. Her priorities have 100 percent shifted. She wanted to settle down and she has."

Diaz and Madden stand together on the baby-front. Madden, who is very loyal, is reportedly very excited about having kids and starting a family. Madden's twin brother, Joel, has two children with Nicole Richie.

"I have a great family, so I'm lucky I've gotten to experience all the joys of having a family," Madden recently said to WHO magazine. "So I love kids, yeah."

Diaz and Madden were married in January in a small and intimate ceremony held at their Los Angeles home. About 90 guests attended the festivities.
