Taylor Swift might be in a happy relationship with Calvin Harris but that does not mean that she no longer has time for her female friends. The "1989" singer recently praised fellow artist, Ariana Grande for taking a stand against dating double standards.

Grande, who is recently single, spoke out against sexist critics for being so focused on her personal life. The 21-year-old "Break Free" singer was most recently linked to One Direction's Niall Horan after her break up with Big Sean.

Grande posted a long essay on Twitter calling out the media and haters for judging women based on whom they date.

The singer starts off her post saying, "Being empowered is not the same thing as being a 'b***h.' Having something to say is not the same as having a bad attitude."

She continued, "What I meant when I said what I said about not being Sean's ex is that I am tired of living in a world where women are mostly referred to as a man's past, present or future property/possession. I....do not. belong. to anyone. but myself..."

Grande goes on to talk about her music as well as the strong feminists in her family before slamming the media once again for viewing women and men differently based on their dating lives. Grande also sites Gloria Steinem's article, "After Black Power, Women's Liberation."

Grande slammed rumors that she is dating Horan in an interview with The Sun.

She says, "A girl can be friends with something with a d**k and not hop on it. We live in a horrendously one-track-minded world. I'm tired of needing to be linked to a guy. I'm not Big Sean's ex, I'm not Niall's possible girl. I'm Ariana Grande. If that's not enough, then don't talk to me! I'm on this feminist rampage at the moment. I'm me. I'm Ariana. Peace out."

After the essay was posted, Swift, 25, expressed her support tweeting, "@ArianaGrande I'm so proud of you, always. But especially today. She will need her sisterhood."

Swift has been very vocal about the double standards for men and women everywhere, but especially in Hollywood.

She said to Maxim, "A man writing about his feelings from a vulnerable place is brave; a woman writing about her feelings from a vulnerable place is oversharing or whining. Misogyny is ingrained in people from the time they are born. So to me, feminism is probably the most important movement that you could embrace, because it's just basically another word for equality."

Grande has also received support from her manager, Scooter Braun and Hugh Jackman.
