At the ongoing Computex, Asus unveiled its second Android Wear smartwatch, ZenWatch 2. At the first sight, the smartwatch appears to borrow a great deal from the Apple Watch, in terms of the new form and functionalities.

Like Apple Watch, the smartwatch features a metal crown, which according to the company is "a new way to interact." However, reportedly this crown is going to act just like an external button rather than a physical scroll wheel.

ZenWatch 2 is the first Android Wear smartwatch to offer a choice of sizes: you can choose between a 49mm-tall stainless steel case or a 45mm one, echoing Apple's 42mm and 38mm options, The Verge notes.

The company is offering a total of 18 different combinations of materials and colors for the ZenWatch 2. Asus has also partnered with Swarovski to offer "a gorgeous leather strap with an embossed diamond pattern and tastefully accented with Swarovski crystals."

ZenWatch 2 uses a new magnetic charging connector on the ZenWatch 2 which according to the company will "dramatically improve recharging times."

Asus did not announce the price and availability of the new smartwatch.
