Xiaomi Mi 5 Rumor: Chinese Smartphone to Sport a Fingerprint Sensor

Xiaomi Mi 5 is the upcoming flagship of the Chinese maker. The Mi 5 is the most rumoured and talked-about Xiaomi smart phone in the market.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 will work on the Android platform, and will be launched in two variants, 16 GB and 64 GB.

Looking at the media side thee of the Mi 5, the phone will feature a 16 mega pixels primary camera, with optimal image stabilization and an 8 mega pixels secondary camera.

 Some rumours tell us that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will have a fingerprint scanner named Sense ID. The finger print scanner would work on the ultra sound technology rather than an optical one.

However, the utility of the finger print scanner to the users is yet to be judged.

The price and the release date of the Xiaomi Mi 5 are yet to be announced by the company.
