19 Kids And Counting Update: Hulu Stops Streaming Show Amidst Reports of a Spin-Off

After advertisers began walking out on the show, streaming service Hulu has reportedly ended its relationship with TLC's 19 Kids and Counting.

TLC pulled the show off air after allegations from 2006 resurfaced last week and Josh Duggar, one of the show's stars, confessed to molesting underage minors when he was a teenager. After TLC stopped repeats of episodes scheduled for rest of the month, advertisers began withdrawing sponsor ship. TIME reported Hulu ending its support on Thursday.

"It expired from our service," a Hulu representative reportedly said.

As the Duggar family fights the storm and TLC contemplates continuation of the popular show, reports have emerged mentioning of a spin-off in the works. The spin-off may take the heat off the Duggar family by shifting focus on newlyweds Jill and Derick Dillar, and Jessa and beau Ben Seewald.

"The show had begun to focus more and more on the next generation of Duggars, anyway - mainly Jill and Jessa and their marriages and babies. That's when the show got its highest ratings," a family insider told People.
