Drunk man wanders into wrong house, falls asleep next to a stranger
A man woke up in the middle of the night to find a stranger sleeping next to him and he had no idea who he was and why he was there, Connecticut, police said.
Officers were called to home in the 100 block of East Main Street around 9 a.m. after the resident reported a man in his bedroom that he did not know, according to NECN news.
The caller told police he heard the front door home open, and thought it was his wife who came up the stairs and got into the bed. When he rolled over he saw it was 26-year-old Tyler Sullivan of Higganum. The caller told Sullivan to leave, but he refused.
Sullivan told police he "could not remember what happened and thought he was at his mother's apartment, which is in the same complex."
Sullivan was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is expected to be arraigned at the Middlesex Superior Court in Middletown.
Tyler Sullivan was released on a $1,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Middlesex Superior Court in Middletown on Nov. 4.
