Cleveland Cavaliers Rumors: Kevin Love his no ‘long-lasting ill will’ toward Boston Celtics, Kelly Olynk

Despite having to miss the rest of the playoffs, Cleveland Cavaliers Kevin Love has reportedly forgiven Boston Celtics center Kelly Olynk for yanking his arm and dislocating his shoulder.

According to the latest rumor, if Love opts out of his contract, he will not be opposed to signing with the Boston Celtics - that is, if the Celtics offer him an enticing contract. David Aldridge with NBA.com believes that the Celtics are a viable option for Love.

Aldridge wrote, "The rumor mill has churned for a year with nuggets about Love's supposed interest in Boston after his up and down season with the Cavs... Yahoo! Sports reported last week that that injury at the hands of Kelly Olynyk may have cooled Love's interest in playing for the Celtics next season.

My experience has consistently been that anger subsides as dollars increase, and I'm told authoritatively that Love holds no long-lasting ill will toward either the Celtics or Olynyk. Boston can offer Love a max deal a second after midnight on July 1, an opportunity to again be the focal point of his team, lead an emerging surrounding cast and play for a terrific young coach."

The report added that general manager Danny Ainge is prepared to make some serious moves this season and could offer Love a max contract.

The Celtics, however, will not be the only team to offer Love a max contract. The 26-year-old power forward will reportedly receive max contract offers from the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls. The Cavaliers would be expected to offer him a max contract as well.
