Demi Moore Reports $200,000 Worth of Items Stolen from Storage Unit
Demi Moore had an estimated of $200,000 worth of property stolen from her storage unit, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed on Friday.
A member of the actress' team discovered that Moore's unit, located in North Hollywood, was burglarized. The assistant immediately called in a report this week. According to the police, Moore has not checked on her unit for roughly six months so the exact time of the crime is unknown. However, since there were no signs of forced entry, Moore's team believes that the criminal could be someone working at the storage company.
According TMZ, Moore is making a list of everything that has been stolen. The majority of the items so far appear to be expensive clothing.
The LAPD will conduct a thorough investigation that will include checking the cameras, sweeping for fingerprints and interviewing anyone with knowledge of what might have occurred.
The company, Public Storage, has not commented on the latest report. A rep stated, ""We do not comment on tenants' units for security purposes."
The 52-year-old actress has been very busy these past few months cheering on her daughter, Rumer Willis, who is competing on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." Willis and her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy have made it to the semifinals along with stars Nastia Liukin, Riker Lynch and Noah Galloway and their pros, Derek Hough, Allison Holker and Sharna Burgess, respectively).
