Drunk Maryland Cop Bites Man in the Crotch During Cinco de Mayo

A Maryland cop bit a man's testicle during a brawl over a woman on Cinco de Mayo celebrations.

According to NBC News, 30-year old cop Michael Flaig of Anne Arundel County was fondling a woman in an alley behind the Looney's Pub in Baltimore when the victim, the woman's friend and roommate, intervened. Flaig soon engaged in a fist fight but was pinned to the ground.

Another man who came to Flaig's aid punched the victim. When the victim refused to let go of Flaig, the cop bit his testicle.

When the police found the victim they noted that he had a bleeding injury and was shocked at what happened. Flaig was later arrested and charged after a woman identified him. Baltimore police noted that the 10-year veteran Flaig was intoxicated when they found him.

After the incident, Anne Arundel County Police placed the accused cop on paid administrative duty and suspended his police powers.

"These charges are disturbing and we have an obligation as police officers to conduct ourselves in a professional manner on and off-duty. We will cooperate fully with the Baltimore Police Department as they conduct their investigation. At this time, we cannot comment further because for our agency, this is a confidential personnel matter," said Anne Arundel County Chief of Police Timothy J. Altomare.
