Classic Nokia Snake Game is Coming Back For Your Smartphone Next Thursday as 'Snake Rewind'
The classic Nokia snake game is coming back on your smartphone, by its original creator.
Reportedly, Taneli Armanto, who first created the version of the game for Nokia, is working with a developer called Rumilus Design to create the same app, called Snake Rewind.
The game will be released for iOS, Android and Windows Phone next Thursday, according to BBC.
The app will carry the old basic concept and some of the look and feel of the original game. However, the new app for smartphones will allow players to rewind the snake after it has crashed. Players will also be able collect new bonuses, power ups and unlocking extra levels.
The app will feature "many different types of special fruit" which can be purchased through a "fruit store".
The first Snake game was launched on Nokia's 6110 handset in 1997.
