Tyga Slams Media And Former Landlord For Accusing Him Of Not Paying The Rent
Tyga's former landlord filed a lawsuit against him weeks ago for allegedly not paying the rent of a mansion in Calabasas back in 2010. However, in a recent Twitter post, the rapper denied slammed the media saying the rumors are not true.
"If I ever did owe $ to a house I lived in 6 years ago, why sue me 6yrs later.smh.lies. People will sue u for anything when u get famous," he said according to Allhiphop.
He also slammed TMZ for 'fabricating' stories against him.
"Stop w all these fabricated @tmz stories. People believe anything they say like real news. You're not @cnn."
In another post, the rapper tried to address the man who filed the lawsuit.
"Stop being lazy. Get up off ya a-- and go make ya own. All these freeloaders with they hands out."
The report first came out on TMZ saying that a former landlord claimed that the rapper owed him $90,000 in back rent in 2010.
The said landlord has also filed a lawsuit demanding the said amount from the hiphop artist. This has caused the 'you got served with papers' incident during the rapper's L.A Gear kicks release party.
XXL further said that the Young Money rapper never attended the scheduled court hearings. With this, his lawyers, then again promised to pay $1,090 for legal fees.
The rapper then made payment by issuing a check but it bounced and thus found invalid.
This incident has made the landlord angry than ever demanding that the $90,000 should be raised to $124,000.
Tyga is said to have received threats including a warrant of arrest, in case, he would not pay the full amount to his landlord.
