‘Batman v Superman’ Actress, Amy Adams, Ties the Knot with Long-Time Love

Amy Adams finally got married!

The "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star has tied the knot with her long-time love and fiancé for seven years, Darren Le Gallo, several media outlets confirmed.

The couple, who has a four-year-old daughter, Aviana, exchanged vows this past weekend in a small ceremony that included only the couple's dearest friends and family. The ceremony took place at a private location in Los Angeles.

Page Six was the first to report that the actress was going to get married during the weekend of May 2. The publication quoted a source saying, "Amy and Darren had always planned on getting married, but her career has been on such an amazing trajectory, it has been hard for her to take the time out. But now she has deliberately taken some time off work to be with her family and finally get married."

Adams and Le Gallo, who is an actor and an artist, have been together since 2001. They reportedly met in acting class. They got engaged in April 2008, but made it clear that they would not be walking down the aisle anytime soon.

In 2013, Adams, 40, told Vanity Fair, "I'm not pregnant. I'm not getting married anytime soon."

She made similar comments about getting hitched to Allure that same year. The Oscar-nominated actress had said, "We both have a very specific idea that we want to do this [the ceremony] in spring or fall, like in those months, but every time I'm busy working. I want something very family oriented and laid-back."

Looks like Adams' workload has eased up! Adams has no new movies coming out in 2015, giving her time to finally get married.
