Jamie Foxx Criticized For His National Anthem Performance at Mayweather-Pacquiao Fight [VIDEO]
Jamie Foxx performed the US national anthem, during the so-called fight of the century between Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Manny Pacquiao but reactions were mixed.
"If there's anything we all learned from this, it's that Jamie Foxx can't sing," comedian Kathleen Madigan tweeted on Sunday.
The Mayweather-Pacquiao fight was attended host of celebrities, including some who galloped in from long distances.
The response on Twitter was not as friendly as Jamie Foxx may have hoped for.
"The real fight was between Jamie Foxx and the national anthem," wrote user Prince, on Twitter.
"Jamie Foxx's national anthem had more twists and turns than the fight," tweeted Funny Tweets and finally, there were others who wondered why Foxx chose to end the song with hallelujah.
"Did he sing hallelujah at the end???" asked Robert Glasper. Singer Paul Stanley attacked Foxx for the actor's version.
"JESUS!! How about all singers agreeing if you DON'T want to sing the National Anthem as it was written YOU WON'T SING IT! What was THAT?!?," he wrote.
