Graffiti Drone Defaces Kendall Jenner’s Calvin Klein Billboard
When Kendall Jenner managed to book the giant Calvin Klein billboard ad, she told V Magazine that it was a dream come true. Little did the 19-year-old model know that the ad inspired graffiti artist, KATSU, to think outside of the box of traditional vandalism.
KATSU revealed that he hacked a Phantom drone early Wednesday morning in order to deface the billboard, which is located on the corner of Houston St. and Lafayette St in Soho. The billboard is one of New York City's largest. Due to its sheer size, using other methods of vandalism would have been very difficult.
The artist recently spoke with Wired about it.
"It turned out surprisingly well," he said. "It's exciting to see its first potential use as a device for vandalism."
The artist added that this is the very "first time that a drone has been deployed for a major act of public vandalism" and that the whole situation, even though it happened in under a minute, was still "a bit tense."
KATSU also documented the whole illegal act and uploaded it onto YouTube. In the clip, the drone sprays red paint over Jenner's face.

Jenner, who gained international fame from E!'s reality TV show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," has not commented about the billboard.
