Samsung Galaxy Rumors, Specs and Update: S6 and Edge to Feature "Guest Mode" on Android 5.1 Platform

According to recent reports, Samsung's new flagships i.e., the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, based on Android lollipop will feature a Guest Mode.

A Guest mode allows more than one user to use the phone, just like the Kids mode on the Windows Tablet. The mode helps to streamline the data and facilitate appropriate use for the specific user.

On the other, it also helps to maintain privacy in the data and information stored on the Android device.

However, the support for the guest mode feature was earlier added to Android Jelly Bean. But, this feature could be accessed only on the tablets.

Now Google has brought the Guest mode feature to its Android Lollipop.

Other Samsung phones may also get the feature with the next update of Android Lollipop.

However, Samsung has not announced the exact date for the elevation of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge to Android 5.1.
