Miley Cyrus Relationship Update: Heartbroken Singer Rumored to Reconcile With Ex-Fiancé Liam Hemsworth

Newly single Miley Cyrus might be getting back together with ex-boyfriend/fiancé Liam Hemsworth. According to the latest rumors, the two have been hanging out again after Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger called it quits after five months of dating.

"They've been hanging out in L.A., but only a few people know," a source close to the 25-year-old Australian actor told Us Weekly. "Dating could definitely happen."

HollywoodLife.com added, "Miley had been talking and texting with Liam for months and months. It was a friendship that at times got a little flirty. She never told Patrick about it as she knew how jealous of Liam he was. He would have flipped out had he known Miley was talking to her ex."

Even though Cyrus and Hemsworth have been separated for almost two years, they have remained close friends. Us Weekly quoted another source, who said, "Liam cut her off, but she would still text him. He eventually started answering. They would check in on each other here and there."

The New York Daily News also reported that the pair was seen grabbing dinner at the SoHo House in West Hollywood on April 24.

The Daily News quoted a source stating that "it looked like a date."

Cyrus and Hemsworth met on the set of the 2009 Nicholas Sparks' movie, "The Last Song." The pair started dating and in 2012, Hemworth proposed to Cyrus with a 3.5-carat Neil Lane rock. The couple ended their relationship in September 2013.

Cyrus and Schwarzenegger's short romance ended quickly after the young aspiring model was photographed getting very close with his female friends during spring break.
