Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Divorce Updates: Singer Rejects Reconciliation Plans From Ex-husband
Mariah Carey says she will never revive her relationship with ex-husband Nick Cannon even if the latter has recently hinted that he wanted a reconciliation with the singer.
According to a source from TMZ, the Butterfly singer's decision has been supported by her younger sister who also believes that her relationship with Nick does not deserve a second chance.
"Mariah Carey is clearly influenced by a much younger singer, because she's saying she'll never ever ever get back together with Nick Cannon...She's out of that game. She likes Nick, but there's no chance of a romantic reconciliation," TMZ reports.
The singer's comment is in response to her ex-husband's comments while he is interviewed in a new episode of the Meredith Vieira Show.
During the show, Nick Cannon has amazed the audience as he hinted that a reconciliation with the singer is possible, MSN said.
"It's one of those things, I'm a hopeless romantic too. Through this learning process, you never say never. To me one thing I know, that will always be the love of my life, my family and that's never going to change," Cannon said.
The music producer further said that the media has been biased in the coverage of the couple's divorce and has presented a lot of inaccurate details.
"It's extremely disappointing when you see that people just want to perpetuate negativity when there is no negativity even involved. They want to make up stuff and create things."
"You kind of get to that place where, I've always been the most open and honest person but I understand kind of playing it close to the vest because when you start to feed into it and there are so many false items and people just want to speculate then you don't want to say anything at all."
Meanwhile, The Inquisitr reported that the American Idol judge has been very focused in her career as she stayed for several weeks in Vegas and is getting ready to release her new single "Infinity" at the The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on April 27 wherein she will also have a meet and greet with her fans and visitors.
