Selena Gomez And Zedd Split Confirmed But Will Remain As Good Friends

Chances that the Selena Gomez and Zedd tandem have gone low as days go by. Recent reports further said that the power couple is content in staying as friends despite their decision to drift apart from each other.

"Zedd and Selena have decided to be friends," a source told Hollywood Life.

Further, the source said that Selena and Zedd have conflicting interests and have been more focused in achieving goals in their career rather than nourishing their love.

"Zedd is all about getting his album ready and being out of the magazines and Selena is all about her movies, Mexico and music. They have just drifted apart romantically but have remained really good friends."

A report from Emirates 24/7 said that the 22-year old singer is linked with music producer Chauncey Hollis aka Hit-Boy during her trip to Mexico right after reports of her breakup with Zedd have spread up.

However, sources insisted that the two are just friends.

"They're also working too and Selena's very focused on her upcoming album. He's not involved with her personal life like that and doesn't want to be," a source said.

Earlier reports said that the Zeddlena tandem has waned when the promotion for their collaborated single "I Want You To Know" has ended, Design and Trend said.

"When they were working on promotion for their song everything seemed to be going great but then they went back to their normal lives and figured that they weren't missing each other. They may come back to the relationship but the friendship side of things seems to be whats important to them both right now."
