Apple is not the only company that's obsessed with making the products thinner and lighter. Sony announced a new range of super-thin Ultra HD 4K TVs, measuring 0.2-inches thin at their thinnest point (slimmer than an iPhone 6).

The two models of the UHD TVs - X900C (55 inches and 65 inches) and X910C (75 inches) will be available this summer.

The TVs will have 3,840 x 2,160 which reportedly is stunning. The TVs are powered by the new X1 processor that helps with upscaling high-def content to 4K.

The X900C and X910C come with Google's Android TV (the same interface on Google's Nexus Player set-top box); that means full access to Google Play, Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Amazon Instant Video and more. These also support Google Cast, that lets you beam content from smartphones, tablets and computers quickly and easily.

The price of these TVs are not yet officially announced.
