Twitter Revamps Its Homepage Design To Lure More New Users
In an attempt to lure more users to sign-up for its service, micro-blogging site Twitter has revamped its homepage design. The new homepage now shows blocks of categories that may be of interest to you.
The blocks of categories lead you to a stream of tweets and from there for any activity such as reply or retweet you would need an account (or log-in).
Apparently, the new design aims to encourage more people to sign up for the microblogging service.
Twitter says around 125 million users visit their site monthly without logging in. However, the company has no idea how many of them are already registered with the service.
Before the new redesigned home page, visitors saw nothing but a sign-in/sign-up section but now the homepage explains why Twitter is interesting.
