Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon Spend Easter Together as a Family
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon put aside their differences for a family-filled Easter weekend. The former couple, who are in the midst of a divorce, spent the day with twins, Moroccan and Monroe, 3.
Carey, 45 and Cannon, 34, celebrated Easter at the Bronx Zoo in New York City where they went on an egg hunt.
Carey posted this picture on Instagram:
Cannon also regrammed the family photo and caption its, "Best Easter Sunday @BronxZoo Roc & Roe had a blast finding eggs all over the Zoo! #FestiveFamily #HappyEaster."
Before the excursion, the singer also showed off her baking skills in another Instagram post. The picture, which is of Carey pouring batter into cupcake tins, is captioned, "Making Easter Cupcakes!"
Carey and Cannon were married in 2008 and welcomed fraternal twins Moroccan and Monroe. In the summer of 2014, the couple announced that they would be separating. Cannon officially filed divorce papers at the end of the year/beginning of 2015.
Despite the separation, Cannon recently told US Weekly that he believes his children will have a great childhood.
"My kids kind of get to experience the both worlds," the America's Got Talent host said. "They get Manhattan and a little bit of Jersey."
Carey will be moving soon to start her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on May 6.
