“Batman v. Superman” Cast Update and Rumors: First Look at Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther
The first look at Jesse Eisenberg as villain Lex Luther in the highly anticipated movie, "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," has been released.
The black-and-white photo does not reveal anything about the upcoming plot in the movie. Warner Bros have been very good at preventing any plotlines from leaking. In the picture, "The Social Network" star, Eisenberg, whose curls are noticeably gone, chillingly stares into the camera. The photo was taken by Clay Enos, who also released it on his Instagram page.
"He's not any of the Lexes that you've seen, that's for sure," director Zack Snyder said reported by EW. "Other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course."
He added, "Our Lex is disarming and he's not fake. He says what he believes and he says what's on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it's all there."
Other characters that have been revealed so far include Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa). The movie will reportedly also include the Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).
The movie's official trailer is expected to be released very soon. Rumors are claiming that the trailer might be released during the 2015 WonderCon, which takes place from April 3-5.
"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" comes out in theaters on March 25, 2016.
