Apple CEO Tim Cook cannot bring himself to delete Steve Jobs' contact from his iPhone.

This was revealed in the biography 'Becoming Steve Jobs: The Evolution of a Reckless Upstart into a Visionary Leader' that went on sale Tuesday. Cook reportedly showed John Lasseter, Pixar's CEO, Jobs contact on his phone in 2013, IB Times reports. Lasseter also shared with Cook he too kept Jobs' contact stored on his phone for memories-sake. The book also reveals Tim Cook had offered a part of his liver to save Jobs.

Apple' co-founder Steve Jobs died of pancreatic cancer in 2011 in Palo Alto. The book by Brent Schlender and Rick Tetzeli reveals details about Jobs through interviews with industry leaders.

According to the book's website, it overturns the conventional view of Jobs as half genius and half jerk and answers the question how such a man could have become the industry's leading visionaries.

The book also features excerpts from Bill Gates, who describes his last visit with Jobs before his death. Gates reveals that he and Jobs spoke about things they did and what lies ahead.

The book also features interviews from Laurene Powell Jobs, Jobs' wife and co-workers Cook and Johy Ive.
