Motorola has once again chosen Flipkart online shopping retailer to exclusively sell its coveted Moto 360 smartwatch but the company is yet to release details of pricing and availability.

Motorola, the renowned smartphone brand, jumped into wearables with the industry's first round-faced Moto 360 smartwatch. The gadget was well-received by critics and secured a good  fan-base much ahead of its anticipated release. The smartwatch finally went on sale in the U.S. for $250 last week and was sold out in a matter of few hours. Now, the phone maker is looking to bring its critically acclaimed smartwatch to India.

The Moto 360 smartwatch was spotted on Flipkart in a product listing but without any details on the pricing and availability. It appears Motorola will follow the same marketing strategy as it used with Moto G, where the sales will be exclusively carried out by Flipkart. India's renowned e-commerce site shows the grey version of the Moto 360 smartwatch along with detailed specification of the product and its features.

It is safe to assume that Flipkart will soon begin sales of the product. For now, the retailer has promised to notify registered buyers if the product becomes available.

Motorola's Moto 360 was the first smartwatch with a circular display, which gives it a more traditional watch-like feel. Powered by Texas Instruments' OMAP 3 processor, the smartwatch packs 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal storage. It has a 1.56-inch backlit display with 320 x 290 pixel resolution protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. With IP67 rating, the Moto 360 is water-resistant and can track various activities along with heart rate. It features wireless charging capabilities and supports voice control with Ok Google command.

The smartwatch is in close competition with a round-faced LG G Watch R, which was released last month. Other rivals in the category include Pebble smartwatch, Samsung Gear Live, Apple Watch and more.

Considering the Moto 360 retails for $250 in the U.S., it is likely that the smartwatch will hit a price range somewhere between 15,000 and 20,000 in Indian Rupee value.
