Kendrick Lamar's highly anticipated album finally has a release date. The Grammy Award winner announced via Twitter that his album, "Untitled" will be released on March 23. A rep for Lamar has confirmed the release date.

The Compton native tweeted a link to iTunes for fans who want to pre-order to album, which is selling for $14.99. The album includes 16 tracks.

Rumors about Lamar's new album release date have been circulating for weeks. Last month, the 27-year-old artist released his single, "The Blacker the Berry" after he won the Grammys for best rap performance and best rap song for his self-proclamation single "i."

"The Blacker the Berry," which was produced by Boi-1da, is the only confirmed track in the upcoming album.

Lamar's previous album, "good kid, m.A.A.d city," sold 1.38 million copies since it was released in October 2012. It was nominated for album of the year in the 2014 Grammys. His newest studio album is expected to sell a lot of copies as well.

Lamar will have a very busy schedule this upcoming spring and summer. He was recently named one of the headliners for the 2015 Sweetlife Festival, which takes place from May 30-31 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.

He is also set to perform at Sasquatch! Music Festival, UK Wireless and Essence.
