Chris Brown and Rihanna News: Barbadian Beauty Shocked but Happy for Rapper’s New Role as a Dad

Chris Brown gained a baby daughter and lost a girlfriend all in one day.

Several media outlets reported Wednesday that the 25-year-old rapper is a father to a nine-month-old baby girl named Royalty, TMZ reported. The child's mother is reportedly 31-year-old Nia Rodriguez, a former model and close friend of Brown. Although the rapper, who is currently on his Between the Sheets tour, did not confirm the news, his long-term girlfriend Karreuche Tran's break up tweet sure did.

Tran tweeted: "Listen. One can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me."

It is unclear whether or not Brown and Tran were dating when he got Rodriguez pregnant. Brown and Tran were on-and-off a lot throughout their four-year long relationship. Christina Milian is reportedly supporting Tran.

Hollywood Life cited sources saying, "Karrueche is doing ok and staying positive and only thing Christina is doing is supporting Karrueche and staying positive."

Tran, Milan and Rodriguez were seen partying together nearly two years ago.

Despite the break up, Brown is reportedly very happy to be a father. He and Rodriguez are currently on good terms but are not romantically involved. There are no reports on whether or not Brown is paying for formal child support but he is allegedly more than ready to help out, which includes visiting Rodriguez and Royalty in Texas.

After the baby daddy news surfaced, Brown's ex, Rihanna was reportedly surprised but happy for him. Hollywood Life claimed that the Barbadian beauty believes that "Chris will be a good father and take care of his little girl."

The insider source added, "She wishes him all the best in this new and very important chapter in his life. Rihanna's been through it all with Chris. This is the type of situation that some women would lose their minds over and end up doing something very foolish. She's thanking everything around her that she's not in this position."

Brown has not commented about the baby and the breakup news at all.
