Nokia 1100 Spotted Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, Quad-Core Processor
Nokia 1100, one of the most popular feature phones, is in the news once again. A handset with the same model number was spotted running Google's latest Android build and powered by a quad-core processor under the hood.
Nokia Power User reported that the company is testing one of its upcoming Android smartphones and has named it Nokia 1100 at least for "benchmarks".
According to specs, the handset named Nokia 1100 appears to be midrange sporting 512MB RAM and a quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor.
"With the form factor of the original Nokia 1100, we find it hard to believe the Finnish company might be testing running any version of Android on it, forget Lollipop," noted NDTV Gadgets.
According to Nokia, Nokia 1100 was the world's most popular phone, owned by 250 million people worldwide.
