The first trailer and poster of Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper starring in the film "Serena" has just hit the web. This is the third time the duo will be pairing on the silver screen.

Cooper and Lawrence are all set to bring their sizzling chemistry on screen again. The movie hasn't got a release date yet but will reportedly be screened at the London Film Festival next month and will debut in Britain Oct 24.

"Serena" is based on the 2008 novel by Ron Rash. The storyline of the film revolves around the lives of George Pemberton (Cooper) and his newly-wed wife Serena (Lawrence). Pemberton is a timber baron and while the couple have it easy in the beginning, things become difficult when they learn that Serena cannot have children.

Later on, Serena finds out that George has a son with another woman and she becomes obsessed with the relationship George and his illegitimate son have.

IMDB's plot summary reads:

In Depression-era North Carolina, the future of George Pemberton's timber empire becomes complicated when it is learned that his wife, Serena, cannot bear children.

According to the Los Angeles Times, production on "Serena" started on the eve of "The Hunger Games" making. It was also before "Silver Linings Playbook" released.

In November last year, when the film was seeking a distributor, an anonymous person told The Hollywood Reporter that the movie is great.

"There were no reshoots or anything like that," the source said. "It was just a real precision edit because the story is about a woman's descent into madness. And Susanne is a total perfectionist."
