UK Police has arrested an 18-year-old man from Southport, UK in connection with the Distributed Denial of Service attacks that brought Xbox Live and PSN down over the Christmas holidays.
PlayStation network and Xbox Live were offline on Christmas Day due to alleged DDOS attacks. A group called Lizard Squad claimed the credit for the takedown. The same group had claimed the credit for attacks made in August on PlayStation Network and online games World of Warcraft and League of Legends.
