A new report published in Nature Scientific Reports by Planetary Science Institute (PSI) reveal that mega tsunamis might have obliterated ancient shorelines on Mars. The 400-foot high killer waves were reportedly triggered by a powerful meteor crash that hit the red planet’s ancient waters.
The discoveries were made NASA's NEOWISE. Around 72 Near Earth Objects were found in the mission's second year.
Two impact craters occurring simultaneously were found in Jämtland.
