Mercedes, a German automobile manufacturer is setting up its goal to build autonomous cars which will act like a smart assistant to the owners.
A division of German auto motor manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has now announced that it will introduce four new electric models in its line-up by the end of 2020. These cars will supposedly stand to compete against the likes of American automotive electric sedan Tesla and Audi’s newly announced electric range.
LG and Mercedes-Benz are partnering up to develop a system that could power self-driving cars. LG announced that the duo is jointly working on "next-generation camera systems" that could allow computers and algorithms to handle "some aspects" of the driving experience.
