Microblogging service Twitter is planning to allow users to post longer tweets by discontinuing to count links and images to its 140-character limit. The social media giant is currently struggling to attract a steady flow of new users while its shares plummet over the past year.
Twitter users for a long time have often complained about the fact that link and photo URLs count against each tweet’s 140-character limit. Now it may finally change.
