If you want to get a quick and easy divorce, head on over the "Divorce Hotel" in New York which will offer you just that.

Gideon Putnam Resort & Spa in Saratoga Springs, New York is known for its high-end weddings, but it now will be offering a package that serves up a quickie divorce in a scenic setting.

Until now, the Gideon Putnam Resort had primarily been known for hosting weddings. In fact, the hotel lists "breathtaking weddings" on its web site homepage as one of the top 10 reasons to book a stay.

Divorce Hotel founder Jim Halfens told ABC News two episodes have been shot so far, but there's no network commitment as of yet. The show did air in the Netherlands last spring and was a "huge success," according to Halfens.

He believes the main clientele will be New Yorkers looking for a speedy split - but any US citizens can participate as long as they agree to use the provided mediators and lawyers.

"From our point of view, these are more guests with a specific need, and we have an opportunity to help them to fill that need," a representative from Gideon Putnam told the New York Post. "We don't see it as it different from any of our other groups." The Divorce Hotel will open for business later this month.

On average,  40 and 50 percent of married couples in the United States end up divorcing, according to the American Psychological Association.
