The LG G Flex 2 phone - announced at CES - can now be preordered via Sprint, the carrier announced. Preorder of the 5.5-inch phablet started Feb 20 onwards.

LG G Flex 2 was one of the biggest smartphones announced at CES 2015. The phone is a follow up of the original G Flex - first smartphone to ship globally with LG's flexible display technology, launched in October 2013. The phone consisted of a 6-inch 720p flexible OLED display with a unique self-healing coating on its rear case that allowed the device to repair minor scratches and abrasions.

The LG G Flex 2 is slightly smaller - 5.5 inch instead 6 in the G Flex - and sports a screen with resolution of 1080p instead 720p found on the original G Flex.

Sprint will begin taking preorders for the LG G Flex 2 smartphone starting Feb 20 and it will go on sale on March 13. Sprint has priced the G Flex2 at zero down, with no finance fees, and 24 monthly payments of $21, which comes out to $504 in full, the company announced.
