Kendall Jenner Fashion Week Update: Novice Model Cyber-Bullied by Runway Peers
Model Kendall Jenner was the victim of cyber-bullying at New York Fashion Week.
According to Fashionista, two models, Lexi Boling and Binx Walton left some not-so-nice comments in regards to a photo of 19-year-old Jenner that was posted on the Vogue Germany's Instagram account. In the picture, Jenner is sitting in a makeup chair prior to Donna Karan's runway show.
Boling commented, "she's never looked better" with a laughing-through-tears emoji. Walton responded with her own comment, writing "that's f**ked up" paired with laughing emojis as well.
The comments have since been deleted after Jenner fans quickly came to her defense. Boling reportedly told E! News via her representative that she was not thinking when she made the comment. She added, "Kendall's had a killer NYFW. A big congrats to her!"
Although Boling issued a statement, many do not believe she unintentionally made her snarky comment. After the Marc by Marc Jacobs show, which Jenner walked, Boling had tweeted, "The season of the entitled," which many believe could be in reference to Jenner.
Jenner has been the subject of bullying rumors since she started modeling last year. She denied bullying rumors at that time. Models reportedly were and still are very upset that Jenner got into the fashion world so easily because of her name whereas they have had to work extremely hard to book jobs.
Transgender model Arisce Wanzer wrote an open letter last year stating that Jenner did not have to work hard to get where she is now in the fashion world.
Jenner has walked for Oscar de al Renta, Alexander Wang, Michael Kors, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, Dona Karan and Diane von Furstenberg so far at Lincoln Center.
