Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Update Rolling For Moto 360 Smartwatches; Moto Smartphones Need To Wait

Motorola is one of the few companies that keeps it consumers content by releasing timely updates for its devices. In fact, Motorola is the first company to release the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Moto X, G and E smartphones; and Moto 360 Smartwatches.

Following the pattern of releasing updates earlier than expected, Motorola has started rolling out Lollipop 5.0.2 update for its Moto 360 Smartwatch. The update would bring the much required hot fixes to resolve the annoying bugs of Android 5.0 Lollipop.

"This software update will be rolled out in phases to Moto 360 users over the next few days. This is a required update so it will update automatically. During the day, you may receive a notification to download and to install the update otherwise it will update during the night while charging," Motorola wrote in a blog-post.

It is recommended that while installing the Moto 360 should be connected to the smartphone for required internet connection and the battery level should be above 80%. The update process cannot be much simpler and all you need to do is select the download button. Once it completes the downloading the package, select "Install Now."

Motorola is also expected to release the updates for the existing line of smartphones, but there is not any definite announced date.
