GTA 5 Online' Heists Release Date and Update: More Characters Revealed in The New Prison Break Game

This was revealed by none other than Imran Sarwar, the game's lead mission designer, Latino Post reports. For fans eagerly waiting, this could send expectations soaring.
"I don't want to spoil the whole Heist. But, the favorite part would be the Finale of an epic Prison Break mission, where the players come from the different parts of the map to join together at just the right time," he reportedly said. Online Heists is expected to be launched two weeks from now.
Meanwhile, avid gamers have been scouring the net for code leaks in order to uncover characters, missions, weapons and vehicles. The latest find reported by IB Times shows there could be more than one leader for Heists missions, which players can choose, not different from Jeff or Lester in GTA 5. Some characters unlocked for GTA 5 online include Michelle, Trever and Chef. IB Times has a quick rundown on all of them with the game play video.
As Playstation and Xbox gamers await the release of GTA 5 Online, having experienced GTA 5 gameplay, PC gamers who have been waiting for more than a year for GTA 5, will have to wait longer as reports suggest that the release date has been pushed further and the wait will now extend till March 24. Rockstar has promised that it would launch with GTA 5 Online Heists for PC.
