Derek Jeter New Girlfriend: Yankee Star Takes Sports Illustrated Model Out for Valentine's Day

The retired life is treating Derek Jeter well.

Instead of preparing for another season, the former Yankees shortstop enjoyed some downtime with his girlfriend, Sports Illustrated model Hannah Davis. The pair was seen dancing along to the Cupid Shuffle on Valentine's Day at the Players Tribune Launch party. Jeter and Davis attended several of the NBA All-Star weekend long festivities in New York City.

Although Jeter and Davis have been dating for a few months, Davis was not widely known until she landed the front cover of this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. In the shot, Davis is pulling at her bikini bottoms, almost revealing her private area. Even though the 24-year-old has gotten a lot of negative and positive reviews about the cover, one of Jeter's exes, Vida Guerra is simply not impressed.

"Hannah is Derek's type for sure, he's always liked tall girls ... but she was like seven when him and I dated," Guerra said according to a TMZ report. "Curves are in --and I have all of those."
The report claimed that Guerra wants to be known as Jeter's hottest ex-girlfriend. Despite Guerra's trip down memory lane, Page Six is reporting that Davis should not be threatened at all.

Mara Siegler wrote: "Jeter was spotted celebrating his girlfriend Hannah Davis' controversial Sports Illustrated cover in Midtown with the model. The couple entered the restaurant separately, then were joined by a small group of friends and family inside. Despite the drama surrounding Davis' risqué cover shot, one impressed spy exclaimed: 'Hannah is breathtakingly beautiful. Even dressed in jeans and a sweater, she had the dining room buzzing.'"
