Scandal Season 4: A character has been recast; 'Body of Proof' Alum steps into new role
While you continue to await the return of Scandal (and Olivia from wherever she went) there is a shakeup in the White House - but not in the way you think.
"Body of Proof" alumni Mary Mouser will take over the role of Karen Grant, the first daughter, according to Entertainment Weekly. Mouser played the daughter of Dana Delaney's Dr. Megan Hunt on ABC's "Body of Proof."
We will meet the new Karen in October.
Her return should be interesting due to the state of the Grant family at the end of Season 3. If you recall the kids were very aware of their parents messed up marriage. More importantly, Karen's brother Jerry Jr. was assassinated by Tom (at the command of Rowan). How will Karen be emotionally when we see her?
In additional "Scandal" news EW is reporting a new, and possibly better Fitz. In Season 4 he will be working on a new initiative to better the nation.
As we head into Season 4 there are other storylines we will be anticipating in addition to the aftermath of Jerry's death.
For starters, it will be interesting to see how the gladiators are coping without Harrison. (It was previously reported Columbus short would not be returning for the fourth season.) At the end of last season, Tom was pointing a gun at Harrison's head at the command of Rowan.
Also, what's going to happen with Quinn and Huck? Their relationship turned really weird last season to say the least. Where did Olivia and Jake go? Finally, where is Mama Pope? There are many questions we need answers to.
So, what are you most looking forward to in Season 4? Let me know in the comment section below.
"Scandal" returns Thursday, Sept. 25 at 9/8c on ABC.
