Fashion Week All Set To Kick Off On Models on City Horse Carriages
59th Street is the new address for the catwalk where the Fashion Week kick off with city horse carriages. As NYDailynews reports, there will be seven models dressed up in Viktor Luna's luxurious and high-end designs who will start their catwalk next Wednesday at 1 p.m. Well, this is going to be the most fashionable ride in town as those horse-drawn carriages trot down Central Park South. The leather-studded harnesses, according to Luna, go perfectly well with his creations that are sophiticated leather outerwear
MyInforms reports that although it is going to be cold, the models will remain warm and cozy in the fashionable wear by Viktor Luna. Mayor de Blasio is making efforts to ban the catwalk, but Luna has his reservations. The carriage-drawn fashion show last year by Victor de Souza had garnered objections from animal rights activists, who claimed that animals should not be on the streets. Luna has gone ahead and checked out himself that the animals were well-treated and has made numerous tours to the horse stables. He says that he is confident that the horses are taken care of well and are fine.
According to ABreakingNews, Nancy Yaisel Torres who has been behind the 2014 show and is CEO of the Tahor Group, says that they are excited about the Fashion Week as it remains a big hit all time around. Every Fashion Week sees a different fashion designer paired with the horses. It's become quite the event, according to her and hopes that the City Council won't allow the ban, when they vote for it.
The Fashion industry meanwhile is all excited about the event and can't wait until next Wednesday. Luna and his models are making last minute perfections so that nothing goes amiss on that fashionable trot down 59th Street.
