Torturing Hostages Better Than "Sex" for ISIS Terrorists, Critic Claims
The whole world is shocked over the Islamic State terrorists' release of a video showing the burning of a Jordanian pilot in a cage.
Most of the countries in the Middle East condemned the brutal manner in which First Lt. Muath al-Kasasbeh was burnt alive, and also were stunned that it was the first killing of an Arab Muslim hostage that the group had publicized immediately.
The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar were the important Gulf Arab partners in the coalition, and they all came together to condemn the killing.
"Barbarity", screamed a headline in the pan-Arab daily, Al Hayat, according to wsj.com.
On Fox News' Hannity, Lt. Col. Ralph Peters and Lt. Col. Allen West debated how ISIS is not "desperate" with the burning of the Jordanian pilot, as the Defense Department claims, but loves to torture it, and feels "empowered" by it, according to westernjournalism.com.
"They're having the time of their lives. This kind of violence is captivating, exhilarating and thrilling to these guys. It's never going to get better for them than this," Peters said. "They have power now. They can exert their will over others."
He then made a statement that is expected to reverberate through the world: "This was better than the best sex they've ever had, and it's easier on the goats!"
He pointed out that America needed to lead the Jordanians, who would not be able to fight the war on its own.
Obama had talked about "airpower alone" or "hundreds of thousands of soldiers on the ground." However, Peters felt that there is a "middle ground" in which there is a "limited amount of boots on the ground for a limited time."
ISIS had never given a straightforward answer to Jordan. After killing the pilot a month before, they began to talk about hostage exchange, which, they said, "was not in good faith".
"The only way you can deal with savage barbaric animals is to be tough and ruthless," he said.
Peters sounded off on the terrorists who are seen in the video, saying, "Those terrorists are the people the president and Democrats don't even want to waterboard. America needs to get serious," he said.
"My God, ISIS is taking over the Middle East, and our president [...] can't even say Islamist terror."
